Description
20ft Refrigerated Shipping Containers
20ft Refrigerated Shipping Containers. These brand-new 20-foot refrigerated shipping containers, also known as Reefers, are of the highest caliber and are perfect for anyone looking for a long-term solution for the transportation or storage of temperature-controlled goods.
Please be aware that what we are selling here is a refrigerated shipping container, not a walk-in freezer or refrigerator. Despite having a same overall goal, there are some significant structural and legal distinctions. The essential thing to keep in mind is that these containers are made to keep the temperature of your items stable; they are not intended to lower their temperature from ambient to freezing or something similar. This will overwork the engine and probably result in a catastrophic engine breakdown.
They are sold with a PTI ( Pre Trip Inspection” check (the industry standard engine check completed in our depot prior to sale) and come with manufacturers warranties up to 5 years at the time of purchase.
The same warranties still apply for static site storage use, but if you have any questions, please get in touch with us. These units are a very affordable option for use as a walk-in fridge, freezer, or ambient store; however, we will probably insist on installing and commissioning it for you, and caution is needed to ensure that your use does not void any warranties. Additionally, we can provide an estimate for adding electrical components, thermal curtains, and man-trap alarms (all protected to allow jet wash cleaning) (Thermal curtains may be advisable for efficiency, Man trap alarms may be a legal requirement depending on your use)
A 32A 3 phase power supply with a D-Rated (motor rated) circuit breaker is required for static use. Instead of the UK residential option, the power connection must be set to the maritime setting. There is a 12.5m +/- 0.5m power cable included with each container.
As these are fairly technical things, please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements. We will be able to give you an estimate for the entire package and give you advice on whether this equipment is appropriate for your purpose. It is simple to use these as a regular walk-in fridge, freezer, or ambient temperature controlled store that you may only visit periodically (about once per day). However, given the wide range of potential uses we have discovered so far, these may not be appropriate for every situation or use.
Please be aware that these are not brand new and are being marketed as “one trip containers.” There might be some little cosmetic wear from this first trip. Minor dings and scrapes are fairly typical, and your container may have tire marks within it from where a forklift truck or something similar may have unloaded things from inside.
Before being sold, every one of our containers is examined in one of our depots, and they all come with our wind and watertight warranties.
Technical Information for Refrigerated Shipping Containers
Please be aware that while we have made every effort to be as precise as possible, some measurements—particularly internal measurements—can fluctuate significantly over time as manufacturing techniques advance and change, as well as across different equipment manufacturers. Please double check with us in advance if you have a specific size issue or item to load that is close to these dimensions. If necessary, we will have someone measure your exact container before delivery.

More thorough technical specifications for certain refrigerated containers are frequently available. Any technical performance data was accurate when the container was brand-new, thus when buying old equipment, acceptable accommodations should be made.
